Supported tools
The AI agents you already use, working as one team.
Six AI coding agents work together in an Orcheri Room today: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Google Antigravity, OpenCode and GitHub Copilot CLI. Each joins as itself — through its maker's official interface, under your own account, with everything its own runtime already has — and takes a name and a job on your team.
Can Claude Code, Codex and Cursor work on the same project?
Yes — and so can Google Antigravity, OpenCode and GitHub Copilot CLI. In an Orcheri Room they are named teammates on the same work, each running as itself under your own account. One of them leads: it hands work to the others, reads what comes back, asks for review and revision, and brings you one answer, with every handoff kept behind it. The Room carries the shared context, so a teammate picks up from the Room's record instead of starting from nothing. One agent is enough to start; mix them when the work calls for it. How the lead runs the work.
Which agents can lead a Room?
Choose a teammate that Orcheri shows as able to lead. Claude Code, Codex, Google Antigravity, OpenCode and GitHub Copilot CLI support this role, and so do compatible Cursor installations. Orcheri shows next to each teammate whether its installation can lead.
Leading belongs to a runtime's integration with Orcheri, not to one model. Antigravity, OpenCode and Copilot CLI lead through Lead integrations that were qualified on native runs: delegating to a real teammate, reading the result, putting a question to the Owner, continuing after Orcheri restarted, and stopping on request. A qualified integration can lead with any model its runtime offers. That is not a claim that every model plans, delegates or writes equally well; models still differ, and you can change the lead at any time without losing the Room.
The six agents that work in Orcheri today
Claude Code Can lead
Anthropic · Claude Agent SDK
Anthropic's coding agent, as a teammate or the lead. Orcheri runs the Claude Code you installed (claude) with the tools, Skills and MCP servers you set up for it. On work that must change nothing, Claude Code itself holds the limit.
Account: your own Anthropic API key, or Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud's Agent Platform or Microsoft Foundry, billing you directly. Orcheri offers no Claude.ai subscription sign-in, so the status reads Installed · sign-in not checked until your first request.
Set up Claude Code · Anthropic's setup guide · Agent SDK authentication
Codex Can lead
OpenAI · Codex app server
OpenAI's coding agent, as a teammate or the lead, through the official Codex CLI (codex). It works in its own sandbox, which also holds the limit on work that must change nothing, and its permission requests are answered in Orcheri.
Account: the sign-in you already use (codex login) and your OpenAI plan. OpenAI's models join through Codex; the ChatGPT app is not a separate connection.
Cursor Lead if compatible
Cursor · Cursor Agent ACP mode
Cursor's agent, as a teammate, and as the lead where your installation is compatible; Orcheri shows whether yours can lead. It runs the Cursor Agent CLI (agent); the Cursor editor alone does not install it.
Account: your own Cursor login (agent login), as Cursor reports it.
Set up Cursor Agent · Cursor CLI installation · Cursor CLI authentication
Antigravity Can lead
Google · Antigravity ACP helper
Google's agent, as a teammate or the lead, through Google's own connection tool, agy_acp_server.exe, separate from the Antigravity app. Install fetches Google's reviewed archive (1.4.0) from dl.google.com and checks its SHA-256 and Google LLC's signature.
Account: choose Connect; the helper reports your sign-in and the models your Google plan offers, and Google's own sign-in opens if needed. Google's terms apply; installing it is your choice, not a statement that Google supports Orcheri.
Set up Antigravity · Antigravity documentation · Antigravity terms
OpenCode Can lead
OpenCode · opencode acp
The open-source coding agent, as a teammate or the lead. Use your own OpenCode 2, or Install the reviewed 2.1.2 release from opencode.ai, checked by SHA-256 and signature. The OpenCode desktop app does not add the opencode command.
Account and models: Orcheri lists the models and agents OpenCode reports, does not label any as free or paid, and keeps your choice; sign-in and billing stay OpenCode's and its providers' (opencode auth login). It will not start OpenCode 2 on OpenCode 1 data, which would be converted permanently.
GitHub Copilot CLI Can lead
GitHub · Copilot CLI ACP server
GitHub's command-line coding agent, as a teammate or the lead (copilot --acp). Use your own Copilot CLI, or Install GitHub's reviewed standalone release (1.0.98), checked by SHA-256 and signature; no Node.js needed. This is the Copilot CLI only — not Copilot in VS Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs or on github.com.
Account and models: copilot login, or a GitHub CLI (gh) sign-in Copilot finds by itself, which Orcheri never reads. It uses your Copilot plan and its premium requests. Its ACP mode offers no model or effort choice, so it runs on Copilot's own automatic model choice.
Set up Copilot CLI · Copilot CLI ACP server · Copilot CLI licence
Two of the same tool
The same tool can join twice with different names and jobs — a Codex builder and a Codex reviewer is an ordinary team, each with its own session. When they share one account, they share its limits and its bill too.
Mixed teams
Any mix works: a Claude Code lead with an OpenCode researcher and a Codex builder, or a Copilot CLI lead with an Antigravity reviewer. Each teammate keeps its own provider session; the Room carries what they share.
Each mark is its owner's unmodified file, shown beside the product's name to state compatibility only — not endorsement, partnership or sponsorship. About the marks.
ChatGPT, Copilot and the desktop apps
People often ask whether ChatGPT can join a Room. Orcheri does not connect to the ChatGPT app. OpenAI's models join a Room through Codex, OpenAI's own coding agent, which has an official interface built for other applications to work with it. Orcheri uses whatever sign-in your Codex already has, and never sees or handles it. What your OpenAI account includes, and how much you can use, is set by OpenAI and your plan — not by Orcheri.
The same rule holds for the others: Orcheri works with each agent's command-line runtime, not its desktop or editor app. GitHub Copilot CLI is the Copilot that joins a Room; Copilot Chat in an editor and Copilot on github.com do not. The Antigravity app, the OpenCode desktop app and the Cursor editor are separate from the tools Orcheri runs — though OpenCode 2 shares its sign-ins with the OpenCode desktop app, and the Antigravity helper may reuse a sign-in already on the PC.
How Orcheri finds and checks your tools
When you open Orcheri, it looks for each supported tool in the places it is normally installed, and checks each one's version and interface. For each tool you see a plain status: ready, installed with sign-in not yet checked, sign-in needed, update needed, or not found in the places checked.
- Sign-in is checked only through official channels. Where Codex, Cursor or Copilot CLI report it through their own status interfaces, Orcheri shows what they report. For Antigravity and OpenCode, Connect asks the runtime itself what it offers. Claude Code's sign-in is not checked, so it shows as Installed · sign-in not checked; your first request finds out, and the tool answers in its own words.
- Setup help, when you ask for it. If a tool is missing, Orcheri shows the provider's official installation command with a Copy command button and its official instructions. Install now runs only after you choose it and after it shows what it will change: for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, the provider's own reviewed installer; for Antigravity, OpenCode and Copilot CLI, the provider's reviewed archive, checked against its SHA-256 and publisher signature. Or choose Run it yourself instead, then Check again. Install and connect the command-line tools.
- Never your credentials. Orcheri never reads a tool's credential store, token or password to learn anything about your account.
Permissions: who asks, and who holds the limit
Your autonomy setting — Ask me first, Work, ask when it matters or Keep going — decides whether a permission a teammate's tool asks for reaches you. OpenCode and GitHub Copilot CLI keep their own permission settings under every autonomy setting: when their settings say to ask, Orcheri shows the request for you to allow or decline, and what their settings already allow runs without a question. OpenCode 2 asks before nothing by its own default, so set its permissions if you want it to ask.
Asking a teammate only to review is an instruction it follows, not a sandbox. Where Orcheri's own work genuinely must change nothing, Claude Code and Codex hold that limit inside their own runtimes; Cursor, Antigravity, OpenCode and Copilot CLI give Orcheri no way to have the runtime hold it, so Orcheri refuses that work on them rather than pretend. Who decides what an agent may do.
A teammate brings everything its tool has
A teammate is not reduced to a chat box. It keeps what its own runtime already offers — its tools, Skills, MCP servers, agents, browsing or image work, and its choice of models and effort — wherever that runtime offers them. Orcheri does not rebuild those abilities and does not ask you to connect them a second time. Where Orcheri cannot tell whether a tool has an ability, it says it does not know rather than guessing.
What Orcheri adds is the team: the Room, the hand-offs, the memory, the decisions and the continuity between them.
What a connection can and cannot do
A teammate can
Hold its own session in each conversation; receive what happened since it last spoke; be named and given a job; be enabled or left out of any conversation; lead the team, when Orcheri shows that it can.
A teammate cannot
See another teammate's private session; set another teammate working on its own outside the conversation's mode; run past a bounded round; answer a permission meant for you; have work presented as finished when the project's own checks contradict it.
Your accounts, your bills
Every tool runs under your own account with its provider, exactly as it does outside Orcheri, and each provider bills you directly for what it does. Connecting a tool to Orcheri gives you no model access, plan or usage you did not already have: the models OpenCode offers you, your Copilot plan's premium requests, your Google plan's models and your API spending stay exactly what each provider says they are. Orcheri adds no key or token bundle, and no provider-usage markup during the current Alpha. Delegation and review may use additional provider capacity. The Private Alpha of Orcheri itself is free.
What comes next
Rooms, teammates and leads do not depend on any one provider, so another AI agent is an addition, not a rebuild. An agent joins when it offers an official way for another application to work with it, and Orcheri supports it. Nothing beyond these six is promised until it works.
About the marks on this page
Each agent is identified by its owner's own artwork, unmodified, beside the product's full name: the Claude spark from Anthropic's press kit, the OpenAI blossom from OpenAI's logo archive, the Cursor cube from Cursor's brand assets, the Antigravity icon from Google's Antigravity press kit, the OpenCode logo from OpenCode's brand assets, and GitHub's current Invertocat from GitHub's logo kit. GitHub retired the standalone Copilot icon in 2025, so the GitHub mark identifies the maker of GitHub Copilot CLI, as the OpenAI blossom identifies the maker of Codex.
The marks are shown smaller than Orcheri's own and only to state compatibility. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic; OpenAI and Codex of OpenAI; Cursor of Anysphere, Inc.; Google and Antigravity of Google LLC; OpenCode of Anomaly Innovations, Inc.; GitHub and Copilot of GitHub, Inc. None of them endorses, sponsors or partners with Orcheri.
Questions about the supported agents
Which AI coding agents work with Orcheri?
Six, on Windows 11: Claude Code (Anthropic), Codex (OpenAI), Cursor Agent (Cursor), Google Antigravity through Google's Antigravity ACP helper, OpenCode, and GitHub Copilot CLI. Each runs as the command-line tool you installed, through its maker's official interface, under your own account.
Can Claude Code and Codex work together?
Yes. Add Claude Code and Codex as teammates in one Orcheri Room, then choose either as the lead. For example, ask a Codex builder to make a change and a Claude Code reviewer to check it; the lead can send the findings back for revision before answering you. You choose the responsibilities. One tool is enough to start.
Can OpenCode, Antigravity or GitHub Copilot CLI work alongside Claude Code and Codex?
Yes. They are full teammates in the same Room, in every way of working: with a lead, everyone in turn, open discussion, or one teammate directly. Each keeps its own session and its own provider account; the Room gives them the same assignment, memory, decisions and handoffs.
Which agents can lead?
Claude Code, Codex, Google Antigravity, OpenCode and GitHub Copilot CLI can lead, and so can compatible Cursor installations. Orcheri shows next to each teammate whether it can lead. Leading is qualified per runtime integration, not per model, so models still differ in how well they plan.
Does Orcheri work with GitHub Copilot in VS Code?
No. Orcheri works with GitHub Copilot CLI, GitHub's command-line agent, through its ACP server. Copilot in VS Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs and on github.com are separate Copilot products and do not join a Room.
Do I need the Antigravity app, the OpenCode desktop app or the Cursor editor?
No. Orcheri runs each agent's command-line runtime: Google's Antigravity ACP helper, the opencode command and Cursor Agent's agent command. The desktop and editor apps do not install those commands, though OpenCode 2 shares sign-ins with its desktop app.
Does connecting an agent give me models or usage?
No. Connecting a tool gives it no new model access, plan or allowance. Each provider decides which models your account can use and bills you directly. Orcheri adds no token bundle and no provider-usage markup during the Alpha.
Can ChatGPT join a Room?
Not as the ChatGPT app. OpenAI's models join through Codex, OpenAI's coding agent, under your own Codex sign-in.
